Smart-Home Projects in Istanbul

Smart-home appears on nearly every new Istanbul brochure and means two very different things. In the weaker version, a handful of consumer devices are added near handover and paired to an app; you could have bought them yourself. In the stronger version, the systems were specified during construction: wiring, in-wall panels, building-level integration for access, climate and metering.

The second version is worth paying for, mainly because it is the one you cannot retrofit. It also tends to travel with better building management generally, since a developer who specified integration at the wiring stage was planning the building's operation, not its marketing.
